Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef1 12oz bag egg noodles1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup3/4 can (14 oz) beef broth4 oz mushrooms, sliced1/2 envelope Kaskey's Onion Soup Mix (or 2T preferred soup mix)2 Tbsp butter2 Tbsp vegetable oil1 cup sour cream
Directions
Brown ground beef. Drain.

Boil water and cook egg noodles.

While water is heating, saute mushrooms in vegetable oil and butter in a sauce pan. Add onion soup mix and saute about 1 minute longer. Add cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, and drained ground beef and cook over low heat for 25 minutes. Add sour cream and cook an additional 5 minutes. Serves 6.

Recipe (and nutrition info) is using basic products. For a healthier recipe, substitute 1 Tbsp oil, 1 Tbsp butter, low-sodium soups, lean ground beef, 8oz mushrooms, medium sliced onion in place of onion soup mix, and low-fat sour cream.
