Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup shortening1 cup white sugar1 cup brown sugar2 eggs1 tsp. vanilla1 1/2 cup white flour1 tsp. baking soda1 tsp cinnamon1 1/2 cup rolled oats1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Cream shortening, add sugars. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Set aside. Mix dry ingredients adding rolled oats and chocolate chips last. Add this to the dry ingredients. Roll or drop dough onto cookie sheet. Press lightly (they will spread out). Bake @ 350 for 10 - 12 minutes.
