Ingredients
6T ground red chile2C posole or hominy2lbs diced pork1 large onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced2t dried oregano leaves1t vinegarsalt to tastewater to cover
Directions
Simmer the posole until it pops. Add all the other ingredients and simmer until the pork is very tender. Add more water during cooking if things become too dry. Serve with chopped, fresh onion, fresh cilantro and dried oregano on the side to allow for personal tastes.

    This is a good recipe. I did alter it slightly. I added some cumin and more red chile. I also slow cooked the pork and let it sit in the fridge overnight. That way, I was able to skim out the fat. Will make it again. - 1/15/13

    I haven't tried it with red chile, I learned how to make it on the Navajo reservation, we used cans of chopped green chiles, hominy, and everything else.
    I throw all of my ingredients in the crockpot, it's about time to make some, I'll add some red chile this time, thanks for the recipe :) - 1/31/09
