Mom's Pineapple Sauce

2.0 cup, crushed Pineapple, (1 can)0.75 cup Granulated Sugar0.25 cup Water2-4 Tbs. Cornstarch2.0 tsp Vanilla Extract1.0 dash Salt
1.Mix water and cornstarch together to make a milky liquid.
2. In a medium non-stick saucepan add rest of ingredients and heat over medium heat.
3. Add cornstarch mixture and stir continuously, until sauce becomes bubbly, thicker, translucent and glossy.
4. Allow to cool and serve or refrigerate several hours and serve chilled.
Can be stored in refrigerator for up to a week.
