Grandma Hastey's Hot Rolls

Ingredients
1 stick butter or margarine I prefer butter for Thanksgiving.1 cup milk2 tsp salt2 pkg yeast1/4 cup sugar1/2 cup lukewarm to the touch water4 beaten eggs6 cups flour
Directions
Scald milk in a pan, add margarine/butter to melt. Pour into a larger bowl. Add sugar, salt and stir to dissolve.

Dissolve yeast in warm water in a small bowl and let stand to proof while milk mixture is cooling.

Beat 4 eggs in a separate bowl. After other mix is cooled to room temp add all together. Gradually add flour to mix until you can pour it out on the table. Knead a few minutes until springy. Place in a greased bowl and set it in the oven (turned off) covered with a tea towel to rise. After doubled in size (about an hour and 25-30 min) punch it down, shape into rolls, Put them in your favorite greased or Pam'ed pan (mine is an iron skillet or dutch oven) let rise again 45 min. Bake @ 350 degrees till light brown.
