Spiced Cranberry-Orange Relish

Ingredients
1 pound fresh cranberries1 3/4 cup sugar1/2 cup orange juice1 tsp orange rind1/2 tsp ginger, ground1/4 tsp nutmeg, ground1/8 tsp cloves, ground1/8 tsp cinnamon, ground1/2 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)
Directions
Combine cranberries, sugar, and orange juice in large saucepan. Bring to boil: reduce temperature to simmer, cover and cook until cranberries burst (8-10 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Refrigerate covered, serve with meats and poultry. Stores for several weeks.
