Not-Even-A-Little-Bit-Fried Refried Black Beans

Ingredients
1 can of black beans, drained.5 can of Vegetable Broth1 small onion diced3 cloves garlic minced1T ground cumin.5T ground cayenne pepper1t salt1t black pepper
Directions
Add all ingredients to a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until onion is tender. Remove from heat and mash to desired consistency using a potato masher.

    I like this because it is simple with enough spices to make it interesting. I add 1 small can of green chilies drained and then 1 TBS lime juice at the end to brighten it up. - 9/9/12
