3 large tomatoes1 medium white onion2 jalapeno peppers1 clove of garlic2 limes1 cup fresh cilantroSalt
Char the tomatoes, onion, garlic and jalapenos. Remove from the heat and let cool. Remove the tops off the tomatoes and jalapenos.
Put all the ingredients in a blender including the cilantro and the juice from 2 limes. Add salt to taste. Blend until coarsely ground. Do not over blend.
Serving Size: makes 5 to 6 cups
