White Bean Soup

Ingredients
Beans, great northern, 2 cupWater, tap, 8 cup (8 fl oz)Onions, raw, 1 cup, choppedBay Leaf, 1 tsp, crumbledSage, ground, .5 tspOregano, ground, .5 tsp*Braggs Liquid Aminos, 6 tsp
Directions
Put beans and water in large pot. Bring to boil, turn off heat and let rest for 1 hour. Or, soak over night.
Add onions, bay leaf, sage, oregano, and Bragg's. Return to boil, reduce hear and cook covered for at least 3 hours or until beans are soft. Add a dash of liquid smoke at the end of the cooking time, if desired.
