Mom's Apple Cider

Ingredients
5 lemons10 oranges2 qts. apple cider 1 qt. water1-2 c sugarSpices:10 cloves10 allspice berries2 cinnamon sticks2 ginger pieces (Traditional: crystallized - I use fresh. And a lot of it. I really really like ginger.)
Directions
Juice fruit. Boil spices in sugar water for about 5 minutes. (Again, personally, I leave them in a lot longer than that. I like spices)

Add juices.

If you're going to leave this on the stovetop or in the crockpot or whatever, avoid boiling/overheating or it will turn brownish and taste kind of bitter.
