5 whole eggs1 cup brown sugar1.75 cups dark corn syrup or molasses0.5 cup butter (1 cube)3 cups pecans, roughly chopped2 unbaked pie shells (9" regular -- do not use deep dish pie plate)
Heat corn syrup, sugar, and butter. Whip eggs and mix into sugar mix. Put chopped pecans in pie shells and fill with sugar/egg mix. Bake at 350 with more heat from underneath than on top (lower baking rack) for about 30 to 40 minutes. (Calories do not include pie shell.)
Allow to cool and slice pie into 12 pieces. Can be served with whipped cream or ice cream.
