Rainbow Trout (fish), 16 oz *Krusteaz Fat Free Buttermilk Pancake Mix,(1/2 c dry), 1 serving*Canola Oil, 0.25 cup *ultra light beer, 1 serving depending how thick or thin you want your batter
1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat
2. Pour beer into the pancake mix in a bowl in place of the water it calls for. Make the batter as thick or thin as you prefer.
3. Dip fish into the batter using a pair of tongs.
4. Remove the fish from the batter using tongs, and place into the hot oil. Fry the fish until golden bown on both sides, 3 to 4 minutes per side.
Serving Size: Makes 4 servings at 180 calories a serving
