Gluten Free Cornbread

Ingredients
1/2 cup Bob's Red Mill GF All purpose Flour1/2 cup Yellow cornmeal1 Tsp Baking powder1/2 Tsp Baking soda1/4 Tsp Xanthum gum (very important!!)Sprinkle of salt1/2 cup 1% skim milk (I have also used soy milk)1 egg1/2 of 1/4 cup of canola oil1/2 of 1/4 cup of light pancake syrup
Directions
Mix all dry ingredients, and then add the wet ingredients. If mixture is too watery add more corn meal for the texture that you prefer.
Oven should be heated to 400 degrees.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
