Beef Stew (no potatoes)

Ingredients
2lbs. beef chuck, cut into small cubes2 large carrots4 stalks celery1 med. onion1/2 cup cabbage2 cups water
Directions
Sear beef cubes; slice vegetables.
Add everything to slow cooker and cook for 4 hours on low setting.
Use cornstarch for gravy if desired.
