2 cups cooked chicken or turkey4 cups (32 oz) chicken broth13/4 cups uncooked brown rice16 oz. smoked turkey sausage1 cup sliced celery1/2 cup chopped onion3 cloves garlic - minced2 or 3 teaspoons creole seasoning30 oz. petite diced tomatoes
Cut chicken or turkey and smoked sausage into bite size pieces. Bring all ingredients, except the tomatoes, to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 40 minutes. Add tomatoes. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes.
