Garden Chowder

Ingredients
2 t. sage1/2 t. thyme4 T whole wheat flour2 c. skim milk2 c. chicken broth1/2 t. nutmeg1 t. garlic powder1 t. onion powder1 c. carrots2 c. sweet potatoes2 c. frozen yellow corn2 c. spinach2 T. ketchup1 t. maple syrupsalt & pepper to taste
Directions
Begin by whisking sage, thyme, flour, milk, broth, nutmeg, garlic powder & onion powder together in a medium stock pot or dutch oven. Add carrots, sweet potatoes, & corn, then bring to a boil.

Once it's boiling, add spinach, cover again and reduce heat to medium. Cook until vegetables are fork tender. Remove from heat & stir in ketchup and maple syrup, salt & pepper.
