You can buy canned nopales, but fresh is better. You can also add this mix to eggs or egg betters for a delicious breakfast.3 cups of cooked nopales1 cup of white onion finely chopped1.5 cups of tomato finely chopped.5 cup of fresh cilantro finely chopped2 serano or jalapeno peppers (optional)finely choppedthe juice of 1 Mexican line salt to taste
1.Cut nopales in to small squares, biol (about 5 minutes till they change color), drain and set aside.
2. In a bowl mix nopales, onions, tomato, cilantro, peppers, lemon and salt.
