Split Peas, 2 cup Potato, raw, 2 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Vegetable Broth, 4 cup Water, tap, 4 cup (8 fl oz) Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw, 1 large Better Than Bouillon Vegetable Base, 3 tsp Garlic, 3 cloves dry mustard, 1 tsp Thyme, ground, 1 tsp Sage, ground, 1 tsp Cumin seed, 1 tbsp Bay Leaf, 3 leaves
Combine all ingredients in a crock pot or slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for at least 4 hours, or until peas are soft. Remove bay leaves before serving.
