Julia's Countrysquire Taco Soup

Ingredients
2 lbs lean ground beef1 clove of garlic, chopped1 onion, chopped1 can (16 oz) hominy1 can (16 oz) pinto beans1 can (16 oz) red kidney beans1 can Rotel tomatoes, chopped2 cans (16 oz each) tomatoes, blended1 small pkg 1 oz taco seasoning mix1 small pkg 1 oz dry ranch dressing mix
Directions
Brown 2 lbs of ground beef, lean. Add 1 clove of garlic, chopped and 1 onion chopped. Drain. In a large crock pot or pan, add the following ingredients including the liquid from the can. Cook as long as possible, the longer the better. Serve in bowl with corn or tortilla chips, top with sour cream, grated Cheddar cheese or other taco toppings as desired.
