Ingredients
Red Ripe Tomatoes, 4 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.75 cup, choppedPeppers, sweet, red, fresh, .75 cup, chopped Okra, frozen, cooked, 1 package (10 oz) yields Roasting Chicken, 1 chicken, bone and skin removed White Wine, 1 glass (3.5 fl oz) *Brown Rice, long grain, 2 cup
Directions
Chop veggies, saute, add wine, add tomatos and okra, add chicken, cover and simmer.
Serve over rice

    When adding okra.......always cook it before adding it. Making sure it looses all sline, or your gumbo will be stringy and gross - 9/1/09

    Need better instructions for the okra (I don't think there's a need to use cooked okra, put it in frozen and CHOPPED!). Very filamentous otherwise. Because of this I didn't enjoy the meal that much. - 2/1/08
