1 ¾ cups cake flour½ cup white sugar½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon baking powder¾ teaspoon baking soda1/3 cup unsalted European-style butter5 oz Green & Black’s Maya Gold chocolate, chopped½ cup buttermilk½ cup strawberry yogurt1 teaspoon vanilla extract2 eggs¼ cup pure strawberry preserves
Sift together cake flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and soda.
Melt together butter, chocolate, and buttermilk over a double boiler or in the microwave.
Stir in yogurt and vanilla.
Add chocolate mixture to dry ingredients and mix.
Add eggs and strawberry preserves, and beat for 2 minutes with a whisk.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until tests done.
