warm fruit compote

Ingredients
1 can (29 oz.) apricots 1 can (29 oz.) peaches1 can (29 oz.) plums1/3 c. brown sugar1 tsp. lemon zest1/2 c. orange juice
Directions
drain syrup from fruits. place fruits in a 2-qt. saucepan. add brown sugar, lemon zest and orange juice. dring to a boil. turn heat very low and simmer gently for 10 minutes or until brown sugar is dissolved. serve hot or cold.
