Smothered Cabbage

Ingredients
2 medium heads of cabbage, cored and chopped3 strips of bacon, diced8 tsp of sugar1 tsp salt2 tsp black pepper1 cup water
Directions
Saute bacon on medium high heat in large stock pot. When crisped, add chopped cabbage, sugar, salt and pepper. Add water and cover for 30-45 minutes.
