1/2 - 1 apple, cored, peeled and diced1 tsp sugar (or brown sugar, if preferred)1 tsp splendacinnamon, to taste (1/2 tsp used for nutritional info)1/4 cup Bob's Red Mill 7 Grain Hot Cereal6 oz (3/4 cup) skim milk1/2 oz raisins, if desired
The night before:
Spray bottom of rice cooker with a bit of Pam.
Place apples, sugar, splenda, cinnamon in bottom of rice cooker pan.
Add cereal, milk, and raisins.
Program rice cooker using porridge setting. The oatmeal will be hot and waiting for you in the morning.
Serving Size: Makes 1 1-cup serving
