Kielbasa Bean Soup

Ingredients
14 oz turkey kielbasa1 cup diced onion1 cup diced carrot1 cup diced celery2 cups diced green pepper1 small head cabbage, chopped28 oz. diced canned tomatoes, undrained1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed1 can navy beans, drained and rinsed4 cans chicken broth1 T. chili powder2 t. dried basil2 bay leavessalt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a soup kettle or Dutch oven, saute vegetables in a bit of oil until softened. Add remaining ingredients except the sausage. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add sausage and heat through. Discard bay leaves.
