Meyer Lemon Cake Bar

CAKE1 cup unsalted butter, room temparature1/2 tsp. baking soda1/4 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp. salt1 1/2 cup unbleached flour1 1/2 cup sugar2 tbsp. Meyer lemon juice2 tsp. Meyer lemon zestGLAZE1 cup powdered sugar2 tsp. Meyer lemon zest2 tbsp. Meyer lemon juice
Preheat oven to 350F, grease 9 x 9 pan
In mixer, combine sugar and butter. Add lemon zest and lemon juice and blend well. Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing after each.
In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add to sugar and butter mixture, mix well.
Spread batter in pan. Bake for 30 minutes, until edges brown and middle firms up.
Let cool for 20 to 30 minutes. Whisk powdered sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Pour over cooled cake.
