Crockpot Chicken Chowder

Ingredients
1 cup chopped carrots2 cups 2% milk3 cups low sodium chicken stockblack pepper to taste1 large onion diced4 cloves minced garlic2 medium potatoes diced1 lb chicken breast diced3 cans cream style corn1/2 cup potato flakes1 cup parmesan cheese
Directions
Combine all ingredients except dried potato flakes and cheese in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until potatoes are tender and chicken thoroughly cooked. Add potato flakes and stir well to combine. Cook mixture on high, uncovered for 5-10 minutes or until chowder has thickened and dried potato flakes have dissolved. Top each serving with cheese.
