Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

2 tbsp butter1 clove garlic2 pounds (4 medium) potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly� pound cooked ham, cut into bite-size pieces1 cup shredded cheddar cheese3 tbsp flour� tsp pepper1 pint (2 cups) half-and-half
1) Melt butter over medium heat.
2) Cook garlic in butter 1 minute, stirring.
3) Remove from heat and stir in potatoes, ham, cheese, flour, and pepper.
4) Pour half-and-half over potato mixture. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat; reduce heat to low and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serving Size: 6 (1 cup each)
