Whole Wheat Bagel Bread Crumbs

(2) Thomas 100% whole wheat bagels
Grate into crumbs (or cut up bagels 1/2 inch strips and pulse in food processor). Spread the crumbs on a baking sheet, bake in a 325 F oven apx 15 minutes, stirring every couple minutes. (The stirring time counts against the 15 minutes.) Bake until dry, you don't want the crumbs to brown (at least not any browner than whole wheat bagels already are!) When completely cool, crunch them up smaller if desired. Store in the fridge or freezer in an airtight container.
