Chicken Breast, no skin, 1 breast, bone and skin removedOnions, raw, 2 cup, choppedGreen Peppers (bell peppers), 0.5 cup, choppedCelery, raw, 1 cup, dicedWhite Rice, long grain, 1 cupBeef broth, bouillon, consomme, 1 can (14 oz), ready-to-serve*French's Worchestershire Sauce, 4 tsp*Canola Oil, 6 tbspPepper, red or cayenne, 1 tbspGranulated Sugar, 1/4 cupgreen onions, 1 servingSmoked sausage, 8 oz
In a large pot add oil, onions, celery, pepper worchestershire, cayenne and saute for 5 minutes. While veggies are cooking, slice smoked sausage and chicken into bite size pieces and add to the pot, cook another 5 minutes. Add rice, broth, sugar and green onions; bring to a rolling boil, cover and turn heat down to LOW. Set timer for 50 minutes and DO NOT open cover.
