Quinoa Double Bean Patties

Ingredients
1 cup dry tri-colored quinoa2 cups chicken broth - low sodium1 can garbanzo beans1 can black beans1 egg1/4 cup red pepper1/2 cup onions3 garlic cloves1 tsp. turmeric8 basil leaves
Directions
Cook quinoa in chicken broth for 4 minutes in microwave, stir, then 2 more minutes covered. Let rest 5 minutes. Place 2 cans beans into a food processor. Sautee peppers and onions in 1 tbs. olive oil until carmelized. Add to beans. Place 1 egg into processor along with cooked quinoa. Pulse until a workable paste is formed. If too wet, add a few tablespoons of bread crumbs until you can form a pattie.
