Chicken Tortilla Soup

Ingredients
1 can black beansapprox. 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast1 can tomato paste (larger-12 oz.?)approx. 3 cups celery, rough chopped1 large sweet onion, rough chopped1 large can diced tomatoes with sauce2 cans salsa verde or green chilisapprox. 4 cloves garlicOptional, for toppings: sour cream, shredded colby jack, bacon bits, green onions or chives, tortilla strips
Directions
Rinse fresh chicken and trim fat. Place in bottom of crock pot. Add all other ingredients on top and stir. Set crock pot to low, cook for 8 1/2 to 9 hours (I set it before work and leave it all day). After 8 to 9 hours, open crock pot, pull out chicken breasts, and shred like you are making pulled pork. Add back to soup and stir. Serve with any sides you'd like.
