Chicken Breast, no skin, 12 ounces "Great Value" Green Chiles, Peeled & Diced, 1 can *365 Diced Tomatoes, Organic 14.5 oz can, 1 can*Broth (Pacific Natural) Organic Low Sodium Chicken, 1 cup*Great Value Hot Salsa, 3 tbspChili powder, 1 tbsp *Cumin seed, 1 tsp *Onion powder, 1 tsp Garlic powder, 1 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp
In crock pot, put 4 medium sized chicken breasts, for this recipe I used 5 small breasts--about 12 ounces. I seasoned chicken breasts with my taco seasoning, then covered with one can organic diced tomatoes and one can (7 oz) green chiles. I then seasoned the 'veggies' some more, added in about 1 cup of low sodium organic chicken broth and three tbsp of salsa. Then set to cook for 8 hours on low (Will cook in about 7 if you can set it for that).
