1/2 c butter1/2 c shortening1 1/2 cup sugar2 eggs2 3/4 c flour2 tsp cream of tartar1 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt
Butter should be soft, but not melted. Mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs in bowl. Add flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Roll in 1 inch balls . Roll in mixture of 2 TBS sugar to every 2 tsp of cinnamon. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan immediatly. Makes 60-65 cookies.
