Maudite Beef Stew

Ingredients
Stewing Beef Cubes – 250 grams, cut to 1 inch squaresCarrot – 1, cut into ½ inch chunksCelery – 1 strand, cut lengthwise, then into ½ inch chunksMushrooms – 4, cut up in quarters or smaller.1-2 bay leaves½ teaspoon of dried Thyme½ teaspoon of ground black pepperDash of salt1/3 cup of Maudite beer ½ cup of beef broth ½ cup of water1 teaspoon flour1 teaspoon Butter
Directions
Brown Beef Cubes in a thin layer at high heat in a non-stick frying pan.
Add browned beef cubes to a soup pot.
De-galze the pan with a bit of the Maudite and add to the pot.
Add the beer, beef Broth and Water.
Simmer on medium heat for a few minutes while you prep and cut your veggies.
Add veggies to the pot.
Add Thyme, Bay Leaves, Pepper, salt and ketchup.
bring to a slow boil and reduce heat to simmer for 2 hours.
With 10 minutes left combine the Flour and butter in a pan to make a Rue and add it to the stew.
Serve over Rice or Mashed Potatoes and Enjoy!

Serving Size: To keep it simple this recipe is 1 Serving- Just multiply by the number of people you are making it for.
