2 cups whole pitted dates1 cup roasted almonds1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or unsweetened, according to taste)1 T peanut butter (preferably natural)
In a food processor, chop almonds until coarse and consistency of bread crumbs. Add chocolate chips,dates, & peanut butter. Mix until ingredients start to ball in the bowl. Line 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Spread mixture evenly in pan. Top with another piece of parchment and smooth. Refrigerate for two hours, minimum, before slicing. Keep refrigerated in a well-sealed container.
