Veggie and Artichoke Pasta

3 cups whole wheat pasta1 cup diced peppers1 cup chopped mushrooms1/2 cup chopped onion1/2 tble olive oil1 can (14.5 oz) Hunts tomatoes with basil and garlic1 tble tomato paste1/4 cup vegatable broth1 tble maple syrup1-6 oz jar marinated artichoke hearts, chopped1/2 tsp dried basilpepper to taste4 tble parmesan cheese
Cook noodles accord to directions.
Saute peppers, onions, and mushrooms in olive oil until crisp tender. Add the garlic and cook two more minutes. Add tomatoes, paste, broth, maple syrup, and spices. Simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add artichokes and warm through. Add pasta and serve with 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese each.
