Betty's Mexican Rice

Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper1/4 cup chopped onion1clove garlic, minced1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed2 tablespoons olive oil1 cup brown rice1 cup chopped tomato1 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions
In skillet cook green pepper, onion, garlic, basil and rosemary in hot oil until the vegetables are tender. Stir in rice, tomato, salt, pepper and 2 cups of water. Cook covered. over medium low heat for about 45 minutes, or until rice is done.
