Ingredients
Ground turkey, green peppers, orzo, tomatoes, tomatoe sauce, onions, celery, garlic
Directions
Cut tops off peppers, remove seeds and membranes. Rinse peppers with cold water. Cook orzo according to package directions, making 1 cup cooked orzo. Heat the oil in a large fry pan, brown ground turkey until all pink is gone. Drain if necessary. Add finely chopped onions, finely chopped celery and minced garlic. Saute until onions are tender. When tender, add tomatoes with juice, tomato sauce, crushed (in palm) dried oregano, crushed (in palm) basil, salt, pepper and worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine. Add cooked orzo and simmer together for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Oil a baking dish big enough to hold all the peppers, stuff the peppers with meat mixture (dividing it evenly among them, the amount will be determined on how big the peppers are). Once the peppers are in the dish, add 1 cup water, cover dish and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove cover and continue to cook for another 30 minutes or until peppers are tender. Let sit 15 minutes before serving.
