Aunt Cia's unStandard American Burgers

Ingredients
Directions
4 c chickpeas, drained2 c portabella mushrooms2 t salt1 t black pepper2 T kalamata olives2 t dried onion flakes1 t granulated garlic1 t dried oregano
Place all ingredients, except rolled oats in a food processor. Process till smooth. Scrape into a large bowl and add 4 c. rolled oats. Stir well. Let sit for about 1/2 hr to soften the oats and thicken the mixture.
Shape into patties, dredge with flour and fry 2 minutes on each side in small amount of olive oil. Freeze what you will not be eating today for quick lunches later on.
What you wish to eat today, place on a baking sheet and put in oven. Bake at 350* for 20 minutes.
Serve with all the burger toppings and whole grain buns. Enjoy.
