Ingredients
1 (15 oz) can of Bush's Black Beans1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs1 large egg2 tsp McCormick Garlic and Herb (or Garlic & Herb Ms Dash)1 tsp garlic powder1 tsp onion powderlow-fat butter spray
Directions
Empty the can of beans into a strainer and rinse away all of the canned juice. Shake well then dump into mixing bowl. Add the panko crumbs (the lighter panko crumbs are the secret to having a patty that will stick together well) and all other ingredients.

Mix well then use a potato masher to mash up some of the beans until you have layer of bean mix than looks a bit like refried beans except with larger bean chunks still visible.

While you griddle is heating up, use your hands to create 7 round balls of the mixture. Compress them with your hands until each ball holds together well.

Spray the griddle with the butter spray.

Flatten each patty between your palms and set them on the grill.

Cook for about 8 minutes turning a few times to make sure they don't burn. The crumb part of the mixture will look toasted when done.
