Joan's Pork Carnitas

Ingredients
Ingredients:1/2 T. salt1 T. onion powder1 T. garlic powder1 T. black pepper1/2 tsp oregano1/2 tsp chili powder1/2 tsp cumin1 tsp cinnamon1/4 stick unsalted butter, softenedPork Loin roast (3-4 lbs)1 medium sweet onion1 cup low sodium chicken broth
Directions
combine first 8 ingredients and stir to combine. Add softened butter and rub mixture on pork loin. Brown in non-stick pan on stovetop. Roughly chop sweet onion and place in bottom of crock pot. Top with browned pork loin and pour chicken broth over all. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
