Flourless chocolate cake, sweetened with honey

Ingredients
Honey, 1 cup Almonds, crushed, 150 grams Butter, unsalted, 150 grams Egg, fresh, 6 large Dark Chocolate (90% cocoa), 90 gram Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, 2 tbsp
Directions
Serving Size: Serves 8 people

Preheat oven to 180C/350F.

Melt chocolate and butter together either in the microwave or in a heat proof dish over hot water. Once melted, set aside.

Beat eggs and honey together with a hand held or stand mixer.

Add the egg and honey mixture to the almonds in a separate bowl. Mix together well.

Then, add chocolate and butter. Mix well.

Add cocoa powder.

Pour mixture into a greased cake pan and cook in the oven for about 40 minutes.

Once out of the oven, leave it on a cooling rack, covered by cling film or a clean tea towel.
