Edea's Tomato Sauce - almost!

Ingredients
ground beef, brown & drain (or turkey if you like) 16 oz.garlic, minced, I use at least 3 clovesonion minced if you like2 28oz cans tomato puree see Notespices, basil, Italian, garlic, oregano, parsley all to taste.olive oil to brown the meat, onions and garlicsugar just a pinch!
Directions
Brown beef, drain. Add onions, garlic till soft. Add tomatoes, spices and simmer 2-3 hours.
Of course, momma only used plum tomatoes when she had them. She also used Italian sausage. I tried to make a lower sodium version but if I had the sausage I'd boil them first, then brown and add to sauce. Also, sometimes she would add pork with bones to the sauce. Now that I think about it, this isn't anything like momma's !
