asparagus salad with shrimp

Ingredients
1 lb asparagus, woody stem ends removed1/2 lb pink salad shrimp. cooked, shelled1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil1 clove garlic minced1 Tbsp lemon juice1 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
Directions
boil medium pot of water, add salt. Add asparagus and boil for 3 minutes. Use slotted spoon to remove asparagus and transfer to a bowl to cool. Add shrimp to the pot of water if not pre-cooked. If pre-cooked, remove after 30 seconds--just to warm them. put shrimp in a large bowl.
slice asparagus spears thinly on the diagonal until you get close to the tip. Cut tip off in one piece. mix asparagus with shrimp, add remaining ingredients and toss to combine. add salt and pepper to taste. Add more lemon juice if desired.
