Homemade Whole wheat and White Flour Blend Bread

Ingredients

Watersaltsugaroileggs unbleached whole wheat flourunbleached white flouryeast
in small bowl mix 1tsp. sugar, water and 1 tsp yeast. Let yeast proof until bubbly
In large bowl mix oil, sugar, egg
Add yeast mixture after it has proofed.
Add whole wheat flour and stir
Add some of white flour and mix until somewhat firm
turn dough onto floured surface and add remaining white flour until dough is soft and elastic but not very sticky, kneading dough after each addition.
oil a metal bowl and place dough in it
cover with a cloth and let rise until double in size.
Punch it down and let rise again until double in size.
Turn dough onto surface and knead until bubbles are gone
Shape into loaf and place in greased bread pan.
Cover and let rise in a draft free place until hump in bread is just over the top of the bread pan
preheat oven to 350
If you have 2 racks in the oven, place them closest to the bottom and cook bread on top rack.
Turn loaf onto cooling rack immediately. Bread is done when it sounds hollow when bottom is tapped.
