1 pound lean ground beef1 medium onion1 can of whole peeled tomatoes1 6 oz can of tomato paste1 tsp sugar1 tsp saltpepper to taste8 oz whole wheat pasta* I put my can of tomatoes in the food processor because my husband hates big chunk of tomato
1. Brown ground beef and onion. Drain.
2. Add tomatoes, paste, sugar, salt, and pepper.
3. Simmer for 1 hour.
Top with shredded cheese if desired.
