* Milk, 1%, 1 cup * Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) * Cereals, corn grits, white, regular, quick, enriched, dry, 0.5 cup * *Velveeta Cheese Product, 4 oz * Garlic powder, 1 tsp or to taste * Salt, 1 tsp or to taste * *Pepper, white, 0.5 tsp or to taste * Paprika, 0.5 tsp or to taste
1. Bring milk and water to a boil
2. Slowly pour in grits, stirring with a whisk. Add salt.
3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Add cheese and remaining seasonings.
5. Cook another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
