Really good recipe. I use fat free cream of mushroom soup instead of the tomato for a creamier texture, add a can of sliced carrots, and use reduced fat cheddar cheese on top. It is one of my family's favorites! - 7/26/13

I like to make this casserole with Cream of Chicken Soup or Cream of Mushroom Soup instead of using Tomato Soup. I'm not a Tomato Soup Fan is the reason why I substitute the other cream soups. - 6/8/11

Needs more flavor but it's pretty good. I used mixed veggies and 96% hamburger. turns out it's less calories. - 1/13/11

We make this a lot during the winter, it's almost an addictive comfort food! We use flavorings while cooking the meat to spice it up a bit. ie Mrs Dash, smoke liquid. - 2/11/10

This is one of my favorite dishes from when I was little!! I love making it---one thing I would suggest is to use low sodium Tamato Soup, extra lean ground beef, and as little cheese as possible...just to make it diet friendly!! :) - 1/25/08
