1 Onion2 cloves of garlic500g pack of lean beef mincevegetables: peppers, mushrooms, celery etc.8 Carrots2 tins of chopped tomatoes2 little tins of tomato pureeStock cubeMixed herbs
Fry mince beef with onion and garlic (ideally in something like fry lite). Add lots of chopped vegetables - depends on what you have in, I use mushrooms, peppers, celery, carrots etc.. Once soft add tins of tomatoes, tomato puree, stock cube, herbs etc. and cook for a while. I whizz everything up in the food processor other than the meat and carrots, because my kids don't like 'lumps', but will eat carrots!
Serving Size: I find a couple of spoonfuls is enough, served with spaghetti
